IBM Maximo® Asset Management
MATERNA has extended its Quick Results approach to IBM Maximo Asset Management which is widely used in facility management. Quick Results is MATERNA’s standard implementation package to quickly and successfully accomplish service management projects within a fixed time and budget.
IBM Maximo Asset Management is widely used in facility management for both, in-house facility management departments and specialised service providers. The solution provides comprehensive asset lifecycle and maintenance management for all asset types on a single unified platform. It consists of six key management modules: asset, work, service, contract, materials and procurement management. IBM Maximo Asset Management enables facility management companies to develop comprehensive programmes for preventive, predictive, routine and unplanned maintenance to help maximise return on assets. Together, these programs contribute to the goals of reducing costs and increasing asset uptime.
ePocket Handyman™
Facility management is characterised by a multitude of activities that need to be carried out by technicians on-site like electrical installation, plumbing, or maintenance of heating, cooling and ventilation equipment. Handyman™, the mobile solution developed by MATERNA’s Norwegian software partner ePocket Solutions AS, is designed to support mobile technicians in all these areas of facility management.
The mobile client (for example PDA or Laptop) enables the technician to receive and update detailed information on new work orders, to register time, expenses, and parts used and to manage his in-vehicle inventory of spare parts. In addition, Handyman™ features a checklist editor to easily create custom-specific checklists that guide technicians through a repair or maintenance job.
Handyman™ is a proven standard solution used alike by small companies with less than 10 technicians and large companies with more than 1,000 technicians. All customers enjoy a significant increase in technician productivity, improved service quality and fast paperless processes for work order management and invoice preparation.
