BOOKWIRE and MATERNA conjointly develop a White-Label-Shop system for publishers

The IT and Telecommunications specialist MATERNA located in Dortmund and BOOKWIRE from Offenbach/Mainz specialised in digital book sales jointly develop a White-Label-Shop system for publishers of books and magazines. The system should enable all publishing partners of BOOKWIRE to sell their e-books via the own web page respectively via Widget-system by third parties.
Hereby, the publishing company should get in its own shop and the direct-to-consumer business as easy and effective as possible. Selling, delivering, paying and invoicing – even up to pre-order – will be done from one source. This is in line with BOOKWIRE’s corporate philosophy to offer custom-made complete solutions for the e-book trade of publishing companies.
MATERNA has successfully realised such solutions as “Managed Services” for different branches several times and has put them into operation in its own data processing centre. The whole know-how of the Communication and IT-specialist will be integrated in the development of this new White-Label-Platform.
