MATERNA Communications and personnel management specialist Persis jointly offer a mobile recruiting module to make it easier, quicker and more effective for companies to find personnel. For a fraction of the cost of a single printed advertisement, the company gets a software module to provide the optimum reach, particularly among young target groups. The first pilot customer is the E-PLUS group.
Because of demographic change, today’s job market is now increasingly turning into a labour market. Thus, “Employer Branding” has now become significantly more important in the search for qualified staff, particularly in the up-and-coming sector. Young target groups communicate via the Internet and mobile phone – which is quite different to previous years. Their altered media consumption, greatly increased mobility and extremely high accessibility means that the classical recruiting channels via print and online are increasingly missing the target.
MATERNA Communications and PERSIS (a leading company for high-level human resource software) have developed a new innovative recruiting component. Here, MATERNA is providing all the necessary mobile services as a “software-as-a-service” to make it very simple for companies to use the system.
The mobile recruiting module has the following core functions:
- Boarding of prospective applicants via QuickResponse-Code, SMS or Bluetooth
- Mobile portal in which the prospective applicant can look directly at the current job offers and respond immediately (Click-to-Call or Click-to-SMS)
- Mobile Job Alert can be subscribed to as a SMS service: job offers are no longer missed
- Applicant communication by SMS is available as a function directly inside the PERSIS system.
- This innovative solution guarantees significant improvement in the brand image for the employer
- Site- and time-independent communication made possible
A mobile phone company, an innovative pilot customer and first reference, the E-PLUS group has been using the system for its own personnel searches since the middle of 2009 and plans to extend this further in 2010.
Mobile recruiting offers employers the opportunity to fully re-position themselves on the market and enables companies to contact prospective employees in the long term via mobile job alerts. In this fought-over segment of employer branding, this will become a real competitive advantage.
