Dortmund, 2011-03-22
At the Passenger Terminal Expo 2011 MATERNA Communications shows its complete Integrated Passenger Service product range under the slogan “Simplifying your passenger’s journey” at booth 6160. Visitors will be able to see how the full IPS suite works in practice on the stand. With its Integrated Passenger Services, MATERNA Communications offers airports and airlines various solutions covering all passenger touch points from check-in right through to take-off. These include CUSS-based applications for kiosk, online or mobile phone checking in, automated self bag drop and solutions for secure access and self boarding. (www.cuss-solutions.com).
As a pioneer in automating the passenger journey from check-in through to boarding, MATERNA Communications has over twenty years of experience in optimising the passenger’s journey, not only minimising costs but increasing efficiency and security. As part of MATERNA’s Integrated Passenger Services new Baggage Handling Solutions allow a completely automated passenger and baggage Check-in. The Common Use baggage drop-off application is offered as a self-service or even as a counter solution.
Using a CUSS compliant application baggage can be checked-in for multiple airlines at each self service baggage drop off point. After scanning a bar-code boarding pass bags are checked-in in less than a minute. Designed for high usability MATERNA’s self service baggage drop-off solution is well accepted by passengers. Although it is easy to use for the passenger it cares about the complexity of all the typical airline baggage rules.
At PTE in Copenhagen MATERNA will also present its solution SecureGate which provides safe access to various kinds of secured areas in airport environments from airside access to aircraft boarding. Based on specific security requirements SecureGate can be customized with a wide range of various devices for attended and unattended modes.
