In the field of Content Management solutions, MATERNA has been an established Platinum Partner of CoreMedia for several years now. Our consultants successfully graduated from the comprehensive CoreMedia certification programme. Regular continuing education and training sessions at the manufacturer also guarantee that our know-how is always up-to-date. This means we can always take the latest developments into account in our customer projects. The partnership also guarantees strategic support from CoreMedia so we can achieve the best possible result for the customer.
MATERNA has wide-ranging know-how in all CoreMedia Suite product versions: from the versions of previous years to the most up-to-date technologies in the CoreMedia Content Application Engine (CAE).
On the basis of numerous projects which we have carried out on the basis of CoreMedia products, we have a comprehensive knowledge-pool for designing, implementing, rolling-out and operating the solutions. We implement solutions for external company communications in the internet as well as in intranet solutions for internal company communication. MATERNA often acts as general contractor in projects and also takes care of and coordinates all the project partners such as agencies, hosting providers and the manufacturers themselves.
CoreMedia CMS
CoreMedia CMS is a high performance, scalable and flexible Content Management system. The solution addresses all services and functions, independent of any particular project, which are required to implement a professional and stable Content Management system. These are, in particular:
Data management
Contents are stored and administered in databases in a structured way. This task is carried out by generic mechanisms and interfaces which enable simple and high performance access. Contents are versioned. Change activities, including user data, time stamp and authors’ comments are documented and made available to the users.
Author frontends
Java Editor provides a high performance frontend for power editors. All the system’s contents can be maintained and administered via this. For specific editing areas and occasional users there are also editing services, a modular web-technology for project-specific requirements.
Infrastructure
The software infrastructure supports both small and medium-sized systems as well as enterprise and high load systems. The redundant, parallel alignment of the output systems guarantees short reaction and delivery times as well as high availability levels.
CoreMedia products from MATERNA (Rapid Web Solutions)
MATERNA creates comprehensive solutions for optimising external and internal company communication for customers in the private economy and in the public sector. Based on this project experience, MATERNA created Rapid Web Solutions (RWS). RWS is a product add-on to CoreMedia CMS which significantly reduces the gap between the services of a CMS product and the project requirements of a solution. Rapid Web Solutions contains standard modules for the full range of cross-sector functions which should be present in the internet and/or intranet solutions. For example, these include the following functions:
- A ready-to-use document model for structuring editorial contents
- Navigation, layout and design plus controls
- Form-based modules to create online forms simply
- Full text and advanced search
- Workflows for editing activities, newsletter and to check external links
With the help of Rapid Web Solutions projects can be shortened by up to 80% compared to projects run purely on the basis of CMS products.
