The Materna IPS team develops customer-oriented, professional and secure solutions for all passenger stations from check-in to baggage claim and boarding. Materna IPS addresses the needs and challenges of airports and airlines, helping them to organize and simplify all passenger handling processes. Our products offer our customers flexibility, for example by allowing them to respond directly to peak times.

Numerous references prove the worldwide success of our self-service solutions. These include, for example, the airlines Emirates, Lufthansa, Eurowings and Easyjet, as well as the airports of Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Vienna, London Gatwick, Oslo, Toronto Pearson, John Wayne and Bangalore. We are particularly proud to have realized the largest self bag drop project in the USA at Denver International Airport. Other customers include, Airports Company South Africa, Swedavia and Avinor.

Materna IPS offers airlines, airports and airport operators a state-of-the-art solution based on the current CUSS standard (IATA RP 1706c) for check-in at the kiosk, via the Internet or by smartphone. The intuitive user interface can be customized to the specific operator and used with any CUSS-compliant kiosk hardware. The proven applications are in use at numerous airports and airlines worldwide.

Baggage check-in in less than 30 seconds

Materna IPS solutions for automated baggage handling at the airport offer passengers the possibility to check in their baggage independently and independent of counter opening hours. The solutions include globally deployable counter and self bag drop installations including payment function for excess baggage.
