The Supervisory Board of internationally active IT service provider Materna Information & Communications SE has announced that the Chairman of their Management Board, Helmut Binder, has decided to take up a new professional challenge and, at his own request, is leaving the company on 31 December 2018. He will resign from his office as Chairman on 31 October 2018.
In the area of self-bag-drop, Denver International Airport (DEN) is becoming a real pioneer in the USA. As part of the ongoing renovation of DEN, the redesigned airline ticket counters in the Great Hall will be equipped with the world's largest installation of self-service equipment.
The airline TUI won three awards at the Real IT Awards (RITA) in London, on 17 May 2018, for the significant service improvements achieved by installing its Self-Service Bag-Drop application at Gatwick Airport.
