Materna is pleased to announce the addition of three experienced experts to the Supervisory Board. Nicole Materna and Lennart an de Meulen, shareholder and partner of the Materna Group, as well as long-time employee and works council member Maria Brandt will strengthen the company's highest body with immediate effect. Their appointment represents a further important step towards positioning the Materna Group in a sustainable and future-proof manner.

The expansion of the Supervisory Board to six members through the addition of the three new members strengthens the board's expertise and clout. At the same time, this underlines Materna's modern corporate culture, which is geared towards innovation, openness and resilience.

Focus on the stability and sustainability of the family business

Materna shareholder Nicole Materna has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the company and its employees. Having worked for the company for more than 15 years, she has made a significant contribution to the development of the workforce and, as an expert in employer branding, has played a major role in positioning the employer brand and attracting qualified specialists to Materna. Business graduate Nicole Materna studied business administration with a focus on marketing at the University of Münster and has an extensive network of university contacts, which enables Materna to build close relationships with educational institutions and to identify and promote potential talent at an early stage.

Materna shareholder Lennart an de Meulen is an experienced management consultant with great expertise in the areas of project management and IT consulting. He worked as a consultant for IBM for more than five years. He holds a Master's degree from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and ESCP Business School as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics. Like Nicole Materna, Lennart an de Meulen embodies the values of stability and sustainability, which are of great importance to the family business. He contributes his expertise primarily in the areas of mergers & acquisitions and internationalization.

Maria Brandt, a computer science graduate, has an impressive 28-year career in the company behind her. She works as a consultant in the Public Sector department and specializes in the ATLAS IT system (Automated Tariff and Local Customs Clearance System). This system was developed on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Finance and plays a key role in the processing of customs matters. Maria Brandt has also been a member of the works council for five years. In this function, she takes on the important roles of spokesperson for the Personnel and Education Committee and the Health and Social Affairs Committee.

Continuity and professional development of the company ensured

"With Nicole Materna, Lennart an de Meulen and Maria Brandt, we welcome three seasoned experts to our Supervisory Board. We consider ourselves lucky to have them on board, as they will professionally guide and support us on our path with their extensive experience," says Supervisory Board Chairman and founding shareholder Dr. Winfried Materna. "Our aim is to further develop our group of companies in a partnership-based, success-oriented and sustainable manner. We are convinced that the Supervisory Board in its current composition is optimally positioned to realize this goal," says Helmut an de Meulen, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and founding shareholder.

Materna CEO Martin Wibbe adds: "I am looking forward to the upcoming exchange and the valuable input of the new Supervisory Board members. We are persistently pursuing our growth strategy, and the professionalization of our corporate structures is a decisive step on this path."
